01 FEBRUARY – DAY 01. LIMA
Reception at Lima Airport. Transfer to selected hotel.
On the afternoon – Begin your travel with a panoramic tour to the Huaca Pucllana, Pre Inca temple from the IV century A.C. Visit the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank*, where you can admire our ancient Peruvian cultures, with an exposition of selected golden objects, ceramics, textile from different pre Columbian cultures and the Cohen Gold Collection. Enjoy walking through Main Square, where you can observe the Cathedral, Government Palace and the Municipal Palace. You will also discover The Monastery of Saint Francisco and its Catacombs. Finally, delight yourself with the impressive view of the Pacific Ocean.

02 FEBRUARY – DAY 02. ICA

08:00 AM – Pickup from Lima and transfer to Ica on private service
11:00 AM – Reception at your arrival and transfer to our offices, where you can leave your baggage.
We begin our tour with a visit to the Bodega el Catador, an artisan cellar more than 150 years old. During this route you will not only watch the making process of wine and Pisco, you will also taste them.
On the afternoon–We go to the Huacachina Lagoon where you will you will have an exquisite touristic lunch, and an excursion on through the lagoon, and after that, you will be aboard tubular cars, and then practice sand board on the dunes. Transfer to the hotel
18:00 – Transfer from the hotel to the campsite.
Reception with refreshing beverages and cocktails, the chef will grill your lunch, with unlimited water and soda. Open bar party.

03 FEBRUARY – DAY 03. BALLESTA ISLANDS – PARACAS

08:00 AM – Pickup from the hotel and transfer to the docks.
10:00 AM – Begin the tour with a boat ride to the Ballesta Islands. During this 2 hour travel, we will be able to see the Chandelier, a gigantic figure carved in the desert of the Paracas’ Peninsula. The tour continues to the islands where we can observe birds like pelicans, cormorants, sea wolves and Humboldt penguins.
Lunch in Touristic Restaurant
14:00 – Begins with a visit to the Paracas National Reserve, home to different animals, and cradle to one of the most important cultures of the region, the Paracas. Likewise, the Reserve offers their visitors unique sceneries, like cliffs and the Cathedral rock formation, which was affected by the 2007 quake
17:00 – Return to Lima

04 FEBRUARY – DAY 04. PUNO / SILLUSTANI

Reception at Juliaca’s Airport. Transfer to selected hotel
14:00 – Pick up from the hotel and drive to the Archeological Complex of Sillustani, located 34 km. away from the city of Puno, in the peninsula of Lake Umayo, quechua word that means river head. The Architectural Complex of Sillustani is located here. This place was a cemetery, where one can see the tombs from the Kolla culture, named Chullpas, which are shaped as inverted cones. You will also enjoy the scenery and the excellent view of the Lake. The excursion inside the complex is 1:30 hrs. long. After that, we will visit some artisan shops to gather memorabilia from this place.

05 FEBRUARY – DAY 05. UROS / TAQUILE (FULL DAY)
06:45 AM – Private transport arrives at our hotel to take us to the dock or main port.
07:15 AM – We begin our tour in direction of the Floating Islands of Uros, now considered the National Reserve of Titicaca Lake, home of the highest navigable lake in the world. During the trip you will be pleasured with the panoramic view of the landscape. Our specialized guide will introduce us to the history of these islands. Nowadays Uros’ people maintain their culture and traditions, like artisanal fishing, especially of carachi and pejerrey. There are 115 inhabited islands with their own organization.
Our tour continues with a 2 and a half hour boat sail to Taquile Island. During this excursion we will be delighted by the mountains (Royal Mountain Range), and not only that, but the people from Taquile are helpful and organized. Their main craft are the textile products, which has been recognized by the UNESCO.
Life in Taquile is still, largely unchanged by modernity. This visit has a 2 hours duration and 1 hour reserved for delicious lunch, with typical dishes from this region.
17:00 – Return to the city of Puno

06 FEBRUARY – DAY 06: PUNO – CUSCO: TOURISTIC CORRIDOR OF MANCO CAPAC

06:30 AM –Cusco to Puno route on private service
07:00 AM – We will reach La Raya (Knot of the Andes Mountains), the tallest place in this travel. Abra la Raya, located 4,310 meters Above sea level, where we will have the opportunity to breath the fresh air and take some photos of the colorful scenery, characteristic of the Andes Mountains, which is home for a large population of llamas and alpacas. La Raya is the point of conjunction of the mountain range, and the origin of the Knot of the Vilcanota River. The tour continues with a visit to Raqchi (Temple of Wiracocha), house of impressive ruins, also known as the highest temple of the Incan Empire.
13:00 – We will be the time to enjoy our buffet lunch, composed of typical Andean food, combined with Novo Andina cuisine. This dishes include legume, different types of grain, red and white meat, served in a rustic restaurant in the city of Sicuani.
Our next destination is Andahuaylillas and their famous church, called the Sistine of America. This cozy town has a population of 5.000 habitants, who receive the traveler in their immense and tranquil town square, adorned by old pisonay trees. The church is beautiful, even if it looks simple from the outside. Like many Andean churches, it has been built on top of an elevated platform. The chapel is open and has the shap of a balcony; and the church has a squared bell tower, with three crosses that stand in the atrium.

07 FEBRUARY – DAY 07: TRANSFER IN – CITY TOUR + 04 SURROUNDING RUINS
Breakfast and free morning for personal activities.
13:00 – Pick up from the hotel and City Tour in Cusco, we will visit the Major Square, the Temple of the Sun or Coricancha, an important religion center of the Inca God. When the Spanish conquerors arrived, they painted all the walls with religious motives to hide any Inca cultural remnant, but after an earthquake, the walls began to crack and showed, again, the old artistic work from the Incas in this place.
After this, we will visit 04 ruins complex: Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, PucaPucara y Tambomachay.Sacsayhuaman is a majestic place, with impresive work stone, the heaviest, being 120 tons in weight. Next, we’ll go to Q’enqo, another religious center, dedicated on worshipping the Earth and, according to some theories, funeral rituals. Our next site is PucaPucara (reddish place) that had the function of a military control center. The last destination, Tambomachay (Water Temple) was utilized as a place for cultists to adore water.
Return to the city of Cusco and accommodation for the night.
08 FEBRUARY – DAY 08: CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

08:00 AM –Before our tour to the Sacred Valley, what was one of the main production hubs, given the richness of its soil. Here you can find the best corn produce in Peru, during the tour we will visit the viewpoints of the valley, and the Archeological Centre of Pisac, home of the late Inca Pachacutec.
This place is made up by a series of platforms and structures scattered from the hillside to the top of the mountain.
We will also visit the Artisan Market where the ancient practice of bartering is still used. After this, we will continue to Urubamba.
Buffet lunch of typical food from the zone
Continuing our visit, is the Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, located on top of the mountains, and where we will learn innumerable stories about the Inca epoch.
On the afternoon we will visit the town of Chinchero, known as the Rainbow City. This is a 100% Inca city, where the conquerors tried toestablish their culture, but never reached their full objective. In this place, the past exists stubbornly, as if the spirit from the millenary culture does not want to leave yet.
Our tour ends with the transfer to the hotel in the Sacred Valley. Accommodation for that night.
09 FEBRUARY – DAY 09: MACHU PICCHU IN EXPEDITION TRAIN + LUNCH

Early transfer from the hotel to the train station to begin our trip. During the route you will appreciate the wonderful vegetation, characteristic of the High Jungle and imposing snowy mountains. This route crosses different tunnels, too, before you reach the town of Aguas Calientes. Once there, we will meet our guide and take the bus for a 30 minute ride to the citadel of Machu Picchu, ascending the zig zag path to the top.
This excursion includes a guided tour, a visit to the Main Square, the Rounded Tower, the Sacred Solar Watch, the Royal rooms and the Temple of the Three Windows. After the tour, you will have spare time to walk through the citadel, then, we descend to Aguas Calientes for our lunch.
In the afternoon, we board the train to return to Cusco (on peak season dates, the train schedule varies accordingly).
