(Tuesday, April 21): ARRIVAL & WELCOME01

Arrival at the airport. After clearing passport control and exiting the airport, you’ll meet our Spanish-speaking assistant just outside the Dubai airport. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Note:

  • If you arrive at Dubai Terminal 3, head straight to the (GREET AND GO) office after picking up your luggage and exiting the arrivals hall. The representatives at this service will take you directly to meet our guide.
    We’ll send you a code (subject to change) to present at this office as mentioned below.
  • We recommend not exchanging money at the airport, as the rates are not great. You’ll get a much better deal the next day at any currency exchange during the city tour.
  • For a local SIM card, it’s better to buy one the day after arrival, since on arrival day the time at the airport is limited and you’ll need to get on the bus that takes you to your assigned hotel.

Dubai city tour, a city that pushes the limits of imagination. In just a few hours, you can go from traditional souks to the tallest skyscrapers in the world, cruise historic waterways, and dive headfirst into a world of luxury and modernity. This tour is designed to show you the very best of Dubai in a single day.

08:30 We kick off the tour with a very special stop at Dubai Marina, a modern and upscale district built around an artificial canal, famous for its skyscrapers, vibrant nightlife, and water activities. It’s one of the most iconic spots in the city. We then make our way to the Burj Al Arab (photo stop). One of the most luxurious and iconic hotels in the world, sitting on its own artificial island in Dubai. Its sail-shaped design has made it a global architectural landmark. Known as a “7-star hotel” — not an official rating, but a nod to its extraordinary level of luxury — it even has a helipad on top that’s hosted events like the legendary tennis match between Federer and Agassi. We then continue to the Jumeirah Mosque for a photo stop.

We keep the tour rolling through more amazing highlights until we reach Dubai Mall, the largest shopping mall in the world by total area, right in the heart of Downtown Dubai, next to the Burj Khalifa. It’s a must-see destination for shopping and sightseeing alike. Once inside, we’ll head up to the Burj Khalifa, the tallest tower in the world at 2,717 feet, standing at the heart of Dubai. A true icon of modern architecture and a bucket-list attraction (admission to floors 124/125 included).

Around 1:00 PM we’ll catch the Dubai Fountain show, located right next to Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa. With water jets shooting up to 500 feet high and pumping 22,000 gallons of water, it’s the world’s largest choreographed fountain. The free show features music and lights that leave visitors of all ages completely amazed.

1:30 PM From the modern side of the city, we head to the old town, starting with Bastakiya, also known as the Al Fahidi Historic District, one of the oldest and most charming neighborhoods in Dubai, offering a real glimpse into the city’s traditional past. It was originally made up of around 50 homes separated by narrow, winding alleyways.

We continue the route and cross Dubai Creek on an Abra, a traditional wooden boat that ferries passengers across the creek and offers one of the most authentic and affordable ways to experience the historic side of Dubai between the neighborhoods of Bur Dubai and Deira.

On the other side of the Creek, we visit the Spice and Gold Souks. The Dubai Gold Souk, located in the Deira neighborhood, is one of the most famous traditional markets in the world, known for its stunning variety of jewelry and its one-of-a-kind atmosphere. You’ll even get to see the world’s largest gold ring, certified by Guinness World Records and on display in one of the souk’s shops.

5:00 PM Back to the hotel. Accommodation. Notes:

  • There are no specific dress code restrictions, but we recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing to fully enjoy the warm Dubai climate.

08:00 We head out to Abu Dhabi. On the way, we’ll pass through Jebel Ali and its free zone, home to the largest man-made port in the world. Once we arrive in Abu Dhabi, we’ll visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the third largest mosque in the world with a capacity of 40,000 people and one of the most breathtaking in existence. We then continue to the modern Al Bateen district, where you’ll get to admire its stunning royal palaces, before heading to the waterfront promenade known as “the Corniche,” where you can snap photos of the man-made “Lulu” Island. We continue along the Breakwater for a panoramic view of the Emirates Palace hotel (exterior photo stop), one of the most luxurious hotels in the world with a 7-star reputation, as well as the current Sheikh’s royal residence. 1:00 PM Lunch at a local restaurant. To wrap up the day, we stop by Manarat Al Saadiyat, which offers a fascinating preview of the exciting museum projects taking shape in the cultural district, and Yas Island, where you can take photos of the iconic Ferrari World theme park and grab a souvenir from its store (park admission not included).

4:00 PM Back to Dubai. Accommodation.

Notes:

  • What to wear on the Abu Dhabi tour:
    Throughout the Abu Dhabi visit, comfortable clothing is totally fine, except when entering the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. It’s really important to follow the dress code in order to get inside, especially for women. The main rule is that clothing must not be tight or see-through.
    Below, we’re sharing the official guidelines provided by the Mosque’s administration.

2:30 PM Early afternoon, we head out for a 4×4 SUV Desert Safari (6 people per vehicle), taking you deep into the real Dubai desert and its massive sand dunes, passing by camel farms with a stop to take photos and catch the breathtaking sunset. The adventure continues to a traditional Arabian camp, where you’ll enjoy a BBQ dinner under the stars with live entertainment for a night you won’t forget — belly dancing, aromatic Shisha (hookah), and for the adventurous ones, a camel ride or a henna tattoo. Return to the hotel and accommodation.

Get ready for the thrill of a lifetime as you ride through the sand dunes like a rollercoaster. This safari gives you the chance to explore the golden dunes of Arabia in four-wheel drive vehicles. Along the way, you’ll stop at the tallest dune to soak in the views and rehydrate with a cold bottle of water. Then, dive into the experience at an authentic Bedouin settlement right in the heart of the desert, where you’ll find henna tattoos, local outfits, soft drinks, water, tea, and coffee. Give camel riding a shot (a short ride just for photos) and enjoy a puff of the hookah (water pipe) available in different flavors. As the night comes alive, a folk dance show and a mesmerizing belly dancer will perform to the rhythm of Arabian music. And to top it all off, a delicious BBQ buffet dinner under the stars.

8:30 PM Back to the hotel.

19:30 As night falls, Dubai’s skyline comes to life with glowing skyscrapers and a vibrant sea of lights. To catch these stunning views, we’ll meet at the scheduled time to kick off an unforgettable 2-hour night cruise through Dubai Marina!

While we sail through the Marina, you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner on board, topped off with a live music show—the perfect vibe for a night out on the Arabian coast! From our panoramic deck, we’ll get a front-row seat to the massive Ain Dubai, the world’s largest observation wheel. Nearby, you’ll also spot the sparkling lights of the famous Palm Jumeirah in the distance. After two and a half hours of cruising, we’ll head back to the pier and return to the hotel.

  • Drinks like water and sodas are included.
